SANYO Automotive's audio systems are ranked highest in quality among factory-installed automotive audio systems, according to the J.D. Power and Associates 2007 Audio Quality Report. Car and Driver Magazine also ranked SANYO Automotive U.S.A. highest in the AM/FM/Multi-CD Changer segment with an overall PP100 score of 4.0.

Audio systems include a wide variety of options that combine AM/FM, Cassette, or CD with HD radio, Satellite radio, and Bluetooth. CDs with WMA or MP3 content can be played in some systems. In addition to traditional radios, SANYO Automotive also provides additional accessory devices for OEMs. One example is our Rear Seat Entertainment modules. RSEM allows rear seat passengers to listen to different music sources than front seat passengers via headphones.

Switch control panels, also known as Integrated Center Stacks also include a variety of options. Audio controls can be combined with HVAC controls, displays, and even assembled to the audio systems provided by SANYO Automotive.

The variety of displays available from SANYO Automotive also has a diverse range. A 7.5' VFD has been in wide use in the North American market since January 2007. A 7' and 8' TFT (Non-touch and Touch available) will also be in vehicles early 2009. Some displays are integrated with the Integrated Center Stacks for Audio and HVAC information to the driver/passenger. Others are physically separate but still function as information centers for the vehicle occupants.

SANYO's Easy Streetâ„¢ GPS Receivers offer the latest features and a user friendly interface to make life on the go enjoyable and convenient.

  • Text-to-speech technology announces approaching street names and the number of feet or yards until your turn.
  • Maps are pre-loaded and ready to go.
  • Large 4.3" Touch-Screen LCD display allows you to view maps, photos and video clips in bright, vivid color.
  • Video Input Terminal for use with a back-up camera installation to automatically display the camera feed. The safety of a back-up camera in your personal vehicle and still have a portable navigation unit to use when traveling in another vehicle.
  • Use the JPEG photo viewer to see images stored on Easy Street's internal memory or on your SD card.

SANYO Rear View Camera Backup System is the industry's first aftermarket rear-view backup camera system and features a high-performance image-processing solution that minimizes distortion in wide-angle views and hard-to-interpret perspectives. The single-chip FPGA-based approach provides a more compact and reliable solution compared to digital signal processing (DSP) device-based approaches, which typically require two or more devices. The system connects to any car's video monitor system, digitally correcting images for precise and natural views that help protect drivers from potential hazards when backing up.
