“My SANYO solar array is visible from the street – it adds to the beauty of the neighborhood.” – Phil (Vashon Island, WA)
The Phil's Story
Phil’s story starts on Vashon Island, Washington – the largest island in Puget Sound. Like many on the island, Phil embraced environmental causes and sustainability as a way of life. To further reduce his carbon footprint and promote sustainable living, Phil decided to make the switch to solar energy. Phil’s main concerns when shopping for a solar system were affordability, aesthetics, and efficiency; he wanted the installation to complement the natural structure of his home and produce enough power to justify the cost. Attracted to the promise of high-performance and brilliant design at a reasonable price, Phil settled on SANYO’s HIT 200W panels and had them installed in January 2009.
