Inductive Charging System. Developed by SANYO and using the latest in electromagnetic inductive charging technology, this system includes a dual position docking cradle and two Ni-MH rechargeable battery packs. Inductive charging allows for simultaneous dual battery recharging between the cradle and battery packs, without the need for metal-to-metal contact points. There is no need to remove the battery packs or rubberized non-slip Wii Remote sleeve prior to charging.
Battery Technology. As a world leader in battery technology, SANYO has developed this inductive charging system to work with Wii Remotes. 2.4V, 800mAh Ni-MH rechargeable battery packs lock securely into Wii Remote battery compartments. These energy-efficient battery packs can be fully charged in 220 minutes (per pack), offering up to 6.5 hours of continuous gaming. Charging status is displayed on the dock and indicates whether a battery pack is properly inserted, charging, or completely charged. When removed from the cradle, battery status is indicated on the Wii Remote. This system can be recharged hundreds of times and effectively replaces thousands of disposable alkaline batteries!
Standard and Motion Plus Remote Compatibility. Two durable plastic inserts are included with the system. These inserts are placed in the cradle below standard Wii Remotes to ensure proper charging and provide an aesthetically-pleasing and uniform alignment of remotes. When not in use, the inserts are conveniently stored in a hidden compartment in the underside of the cradle.
USB Powered.This charging system conveniently operates on USB power and can be plugged in directly to the Wii Console via the standard 5V USB connector (included). The system will also operate when connected to another device with standard USB output. There is no need to plug the system into a wall outlet for use!
Clean and Stylish Design.The design of the dock is straight-forward and simple to use - with no moving parts. Standard Wii Remote removable inserts can be easily located when stored securely in the underside of the cradle. Specially molded components allow for non-tangling or interference of Wii Remote safety straps when placed in the cradle. Even the charge indication lights are hidden beneath the plastic housing and are only seen when lit.
Easy SYNC Reset. Wii Remotes must be synchronized to the Wii Console for proper operation. The SANYO system includes dual reset tools that allow for easy resetting of the Remotes without removing battery packs.
