with a Newly Developed Complete Gel-type Electrolyte
The new polymer electrolyte provides exceptionl reliability
and lifespan with more than 500 recharging cycles. Combine
this with the high performance characteristics (gaavimetric
energy density 166Wh/kg & volumetric energy density 348Wh/l)
and you have a battery that meets many needs.
Excellent Discharge Characteristics
Allow for Performance at -20¾C
Older lithium polymer batteries display weak load and temperature
characteristics. SANYO's newly developed gel-type polymer
electrolyte possesses a high ion conductivity even at low
temperatures, making discharges at -20¾C a walk in the park.
Ultra-thin, Ultra-light, Ultra-tough
SANYO was able to make a highly leak-resistant battery
under 4mm thick by taking advantage of the gel electrolyte's
unique charateristics. By using a super-light laminated aluminum
film for the extrnal packaging, our high-erformance lithium
polymer batteries are suitable for all applications where
wieght, size, and durability are critical factors.
